Build levees and dikes,
Construct canals,
Divert a river,
Pump out the water,
Voila!
Fertile farmland!
You look at the mountains,
Cut down the trees,
Clearcut the hillsides,
Set up a sawmill,
Voila!
Lumber for buildings,
You accept complacency,
Years on rains come
As they have for centuries,
Landslides and flash floods,
Total destruction,
Voila!
Climate Change!
