Sitting on the edge
Of a minority,
Wheeling and dealing
For support to keep from
Falling off of the wall,
Too arrogant to realize
There is no Divine Right
Of politicians,
That respect, unlike
Daddy’s money, is earned
Not given,
That Daddy’s grey matter
Isn’t always passed on,
Some politicians and their guards
Fail to remember that history
Is packed with goons claiming
They were just following orders.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications

Some thinking that looking the other way
