And seats of government,
Doesn’t automatically pass
To the politicians holding the seats,
Politicians passing laws demanding
Respect, reverence and kind words
Do not understand the fundamentals
Of democracy or the code of true leaders,
Respect is earned,
Not inherited. Not given. Not forced.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV

Some thinking that looking the other way
