It’s hard to believe
That so-called leaders
Would connive to conceive
The fatal western destruction
Under the guise of
Build back better/
New world order,
But then,
Do they have the ability
To improve and build
On success,
Or do their capabilities
Limit then to pretending
On the wreckage
Of what real leaders
Built before?

Beneath our feet
Grinding, crumbling, groaning,
Plates sliding, slipping, sticking,
Above, governments confused,

With good, bad, no intentions,
The sane among us sit in the sun
Sipping tea and coffee resigned
To the fact that sooner or later
Something has to give.
