Birds
The laurel have become
A multicultural condominium,
Crows, hummingbirds and
What have you nesting,
Ring necked doves, robins,
And woodpeckers stop by,
The peckers from the pine
In the backyard and a couple
Of ravens in the tall spruce,
Funny thing about the ravens,
The other birds treat them
Like the world is treating
The Russians,
Are birds susceptible to
Mass formation psychosis.
