Writing doesn’t come easy

Staring into his cup,
It’s like pulling words
Letter by letter from
The muses’ purse,
What about you,
I have the curse
Of words coming
At all times,
Waking at three
In the morning
Reaching for a pen,
Words flowing as easily
And eagerly as lovers
Slipping out of their clothes,
I don’t think anyone noticed
The gorgeous English gal
Writing with her toes under the table.
