Crosshairs
In the crosshairs
Of fingers pointing
At other countries’ modern
Dungeons, towers, gulags,
Show trials, forums and
Politized justice,
In the midst of the distraction
From planned medicine, proxy
Wars, red flags , woke stupidity
And media fiction,
People don’t realize that their
Own country has quietly passed
Laws, changed legal definitions,
Stitched together propaganda,
Surveillance and control systems
That rival the old Soviet KGB
And the modern CCP.

So Gifted
Who would have thought
That we would be living in a time
When governments and leaders
Were so woke, so arrogant, so narcissistic,
So full of their own stupidity,
Believing that they were so
Gifted in reading currents,
So gifted that they took to
Rowboats and tossed
The oars in the trash.

Ad Nauseum
Like ants busy in their hill
Unaware of the herd stampeding
Directly towards them,
We are complacently distracted
By nonsensical news, political posturing,
Corruption and deception ad nauseum.
