When the cost of permits,
Licenses, inspections, evaluations,
Testing and approval are approaching
The cost of the material to build
A garden shed,
It’s time to realize that the descent
Into chaos is precipitated by
Bureaucrats, planners, regulations,
Red tape and rubber-stamping politicians,
When people are living on the sidewalks
Of towns and cities, camping with their
Drugs and garbage in children’s ball parks,
Is it time to give our heads a shake.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV
Proxies, genocides and the Middle East disasters,
Some thinking that looking the other way
Camouflages them like pissants
