How did we get here?
We smothered our souls,
Locked our hearts,
Numbed our brains
With alcohol and drugs,
Legal and illegal,
Gathered around our screens
Like children listening to scary stories
Around a dark night campfire,
Fell in love with tools and fools
Like Tam and Henry
And did whatever the psychopathic politicians
And mainstream morons told us to do.
