We’re programed and trained
Like seals in a pool
Some of the brilliant ones
Simply quit school,
When TV says
Get your shots
Many call in
To reserve a spot,
We go on green
We stop on red
Back and forth
Until we’re dead.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV
Proxies, genocides and the Middle East disasters,
Some thinking that looking the other way
Camouflages them like pissants
