Years ago in a coffee shop
Famous for coffee and conversation,
Chatting about government corruption,
An old man came up to the table,
The biggest gangs, cabals and cartels
Go by three - and four - letter labels,
There are crimes and there are crimes
Hiding in places like Area 51
Under cover of “The Aliens”
We’re not talking millions
What comes after billions,
Those who go poking too close
End up missing or found in
Crashed and burned-out cars,
As he paid for his coffee and left
He turned back and said,
Think about satellites and Mars.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV

Some thinking that looking the other way
