Several decades in and you realize
There are some wonderful people
Out there,
Principled, ethical, honest,
Running on integrity that never
Allows them to take advantage
At the disadvantage of someone else,
However, as the body is approximately
Sixty percent water,
Most run to the lowest level,
Going along with wrong just to get along
Especially if there is a dollar in it,
From all levels of society walking at water level
Come elaborate stories and excuses about how
And what they are doing is for
The benefit of humanity.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV
Proxies, genocides and the Middle East disasters,
Some thinking that looking the other way
Camouflages them like pissants
