Imagine a room full of
Liberal politicians and supporters
Clapping and cheering when
Trudeau, with NDP support,
Hints at a grocery store tax
To bring down food prices.

Above, governments confused,

With good, bad, no intentions,
The sane among us sit in the sun
Sipping tea and coffee resigned
To the fact that sooner or later
Something has to give.
