Haunting Questions
Why do humans
Applaud and support
A government
That turns off the electricity,
Turns off the water,
Blocks staple food delivery,
Stops critical medical supplies,
Then relentlessly bombs
A captive population of over
Two million people with almost
Half of them being children,
A government that demands
Persecution and censorship
Of anyone pointing out
The asinine sub-human insanity,
That labels disapproval as
Anti whatever the hell.
Why do humans
Applaud and support
Their own governments
Who look the other way
While they send money, bombs,
Support and approval
To an evil enterprise.
