The leaves are turning,
The geese and birds are flocking,
The wasps are gone,
The bears are gorging,
Nature never seems to forget
And yet,
Sophisticated, educated humans
With digital devices don’t know
What time it is, where they are,
Where they are going,
What happened two days ago.
