In spring all inspiring
Buds and flowers
Calling bees and other sounds,
In summer simply gorgeous
Shades of green and color,
Songbirds all around.
In fall you bust your ass
Cleaning up the ground,
In winter a little scary
Nude branches hanging down,
Foretelling human futures

Drunken Drones
Are the ones launching satellites
Rocketing to and from the station
Collecting every bit of data
On everyone in every nation,
Are they working on their own
Or tethered to the Deep
Camouflaged to soothe us
Lulling us to sleep,
Neuralinks in the vaccines
Assembling on their own
We’re applauding democracy
Like dozy drunken drones.
