The worlds once camouflaged
Pathetic proxy plays
Now exposed,
Like old pinball games
Shiny balls rusted and gouged,
Flippers and paddles cracked,
Broken, reduced to soft rubber,
The music and bells faint,
Out of tune, out of date,
Old neocons still pushing buttons,
Young neocons moving on to
Digital, drones and illusions,
The music and bells loud
Out of tune, out of date,
The plays still pathetic.

Prancing with impunity
Governments and officials
Hiding, ignoring the ramifications
Of their actions from covid, their AZOV

Some thinking that looking the other way
