The future looked obscure,

Some said we needed war
Something was obvious
Trust had left the floor,
Some left the country
The old ones stayed behind
To die where they were born

Listening to the European
And EU leaders’ statements,
Comments from the Trumpster,
The Carney and the Aussie,
Interrupted by Loki the cat
Growling, meowing, chatting,
Wondering what the hell
Are they talking about,
The cat made sense,
But the rest of them,
A disgrace to their
Degrees and positions.
