Serenading the breaking day,
The neighbourhood cats slip
Silently into stalking mode,
The clock radio news
Turns on announcing
Israel bombing Lebanon
Streets and the homeless
Tents in Gaza,
The US pirates another ship
And steals the cargo,
In the UK seniors charged
With terrorism for protesting
Government stupidity.

In other words - Bail-Ins for incompetent
Governments, bureaucrats, corporate leaders,
In Canada - no go zones for non-indigenous,
Federal racism – who would have thought,
Bleeding hearts around the world buying into
Pimpish propaganda – turning twisted eyes away from
Genocide, proxy wars, elite corruption, the helpless homeless
Living on the streets and in the alleys of their major cities.
