A Middle Ages siege
With contaminated garbage
And fire barrels catapulted over the walls,
In the twenty first century renamed tariffs,
Sanctions, pre-emptive bombing, blockades,
Idiotic politicians and so-called diplomats
In both eras justifying savage stupidity,
Populations back then and now cheering it on
Proving assholes and evil are in constant fluidity.
